First seen May 09, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study will test 33 anesthesiology residents to see how their prior experience and the type of laryngoscope they use affect their ability to correctly place a double-lumen tube, a challenging breathing tube used in lung surgery. Participants will practice on a manikin, and researchers will track mistakes and learning over repeated attempts. The goal is to improve training and patient safety.
