Diet and exercise may boost cancer clearance in aggressive breast cancer

NCT ID NCT07066189

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests whether a structured nutrition and exercise program can increase the chance of having no cancer left after chemo-immunotherapy in women with triple-negative breast cancer. About 160 women who are not currently active or eating many fruits and vegetables will be randomly assigned to the program or usual care. The main goal is to see if the program leads to a higher rate of pathologic complete response (no cancer found in breast or lymph nodes after treatment).
