New study tests faster bleeding control after heart device surgery
NCT ID NCT06837870
Summary
This study compares two different ways to stop bleeding after doctors insert a leadless pacemaker through a vein in the leg. Researchers will randomly assign 50 patients to either receive a special closure device or have manual pressure with stitches. The main goal is to see which method stops bleeding faster and leads to fewer complications and earlier discharge from the hospital.
