New hope for lung cancer patients whose treatment stopped working

NCT ID NCT06106802

First seen Mar 03, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tests a combination of two targeted drugs, lazertinib and tepotinib, in people with a specific type of advanced lung cancer (EGFR-mutant non-small cell lung cancer) that has stopped responding to lazertinib alone due to a change in the MET gene. About 47 participants will receive the drug combination to see if it shrinks tumors or delays cancer growth. The goal is to find a new treatment option for patients whose cancer has developed resistance.
