First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tests if a gentle, home-based program of laughter and fun yoga can help lower pain in children aged 2-10 with acute lymphoblastic leukemia who are receiving chemotherapy. Sixty children will be randomly assigned to either the laughter and yoga program plus usual care, or usual care alone. The program lasts 6 days after chemotherapy, and researchers will measure pain, pain medicine use, mood, anxiety, and sleep.
