Which testis holds the key? new study aims to predict sperm retrieval success

NCT ID NCT07259967

First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study will measure how often sperm can be found in a single testis when men with non-obstructive azoospermia (no sperm in their semen) undergo a sperm retrieval procedure on both testicles. Researchers will also identify factors that make successful retrieval more likely. About 80 men will take part.
