Summary
This study tests a new vaccine called LASSARAB that aims to prevent Lassa fever, a serious viral illness common in parts of West Africa. The vaccine uses a modified rabies virus to deliver the Lassa antigen and includes an adjuvant to boost the immune response. About 55 healthy adults aged 18 to 50 will receive two doses to check for safety, side effects, and immune response. This is the first time this vaccine is being tested in humans.
