New laser promises sharper vision for the farsighted

Summary
This study tests a new excimer laser used in LASIK eye surgery to correct farsightedness (hyperopia), with or without astigmatism. About 140 adults aged 22 and older will have the procedure and be followed for 12 months. The goal is to see if the laser safely improves vision without glasses or contacts.
