NCT ID NCT06795841

First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tested two treatments—low-level laser therapy and myofascial release (a type of massage)—in 102 moderate COVID-19 patients aged 45-60 in the intensive care unit. After leaving the hospital, all patients did a 12-week home exercise program via video calls. The goal was to see which treatment better reduced inflammation and helped patients recover strength and breathing. The study measured blood markers, lung function, and walking ability.
