Laser light vs. numbing gel: finding the best relief for Kids' mouth sores

NCT ID NCT07138586

Summary

This study tested three different ways to help children with painful mouth ulcers that sometimes happen after dental visits. Researchers compared a low-level laser treatment, a numbing gel (lidocaine), and a germ-killing mouthwash (chlorhexidine) to see which worked best for reducing pain and helping the sores heal faster. They measured children's pain levels and the size of the ulcers over two weeks.
