First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study tested if a dual-frequency laser can reduce pain and improve neck movement in people with myofascial trigger points (muscle knots) in the upper neck. 48 adults with chronic neck pain received either a single-wavelength laser or a dual-frequency laser, plus standard exercises, twice a week for four weeks. The goal was to see which laser works better for easing pain and helping the neck move more freely.
