First seen May 20, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looked at whether low-level laser therapy can help people with temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD), a condition that causes jaw pain and clicking. Researchers treated 100 adults with a special diode laser and measured pain changes using a 0-to-10 scale. The goal was to see if laser treatment reduces pain and improves jaw function better than a soft diet alone.
