Laser and gel combo aims to boost wound healing in small trial
NCT ID NCT05411484
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looks at whether using a laser before applying a medicated gel (NanoDOX) helps the medicine reach deeper into the skin and affects how wounds heal. About 12 healthy adults will receive the laser treatment and gel on small skin areas, then have biopsies to measure drug depth and wound healing. The goal is to gather information, not to treat a disease.
