First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looks at whether using a laser to thin the outer shell of a frozen embryo (called laser-assisted hatching) can help women aged 35 and older get pregnant and have a baby. About 916 women will be randomly assigned to receive the laser treatment or standard care. The main goal is to see if the laser improves the chance of a live birth.
