Laser acupuncture may ease fatigue for dialysis patients

Summary
This study tests whether laser acupuncture can reduce fatigue and improve quality of life in adults with end-stage kidney disease who are on dialysis. Fifty participants will receive either real laser acupuncture or a sham treatment during their regular dialysis sessions three times a week for four weeks. Researchers will measure fatigue, sleep, appetite, and blood flow to see if the treatment helps.
