First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looked back at 126 patients who had keyhole surgery to remove the tail of the pancreas. The goal was to see if using a robot leads to fewer complications than standard laparoscopic tools. The research did not test a new treatment, but rather compared two existing surgical methods to gather more evidence on which might be safer.
