First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study compares two types of surgery for right colon cancer: laparoscopic (keyhole) and open surgery, both using a special technique called complete mesocolic excision (CME). About 114 adults aged 18-90 with early-stage right colon cancer will be randomly assigned to one of the two procedures. The goal is to see which method provides better cancer removal quality and recovery outcomes.
