Summary
This study compares two ways to remove a kidney: laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery and open surgery. Researchers want to see which method leads to a shorter hospital stay, less blood loss, and lower costs. The study will include 60 people who need a kidney removed due to a non-working kidney or kidney cancer.
