First seen Mar 15, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looked at the long-term safety and effectiveness of a reusable clip system used during laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery. The clips are used to close off blood vessels and other tubes to prevent bleeding or leaks. A total of 245 adults who were scheduled for laparoscopic surgery took part, and they were followed for 6 months after their operation. The goal was to see if the clips stayed secure and caused no serious problems.
