New eye drop could speed healing after laser surgery

Summary
This study tests a new eye drop called Lacripep to see if it helps the cornea heal better and faster after PRK laser eye surgery. About 88 active-duty military members and their families will receive the eye drop or a placebo. The goal is to measure healing and safety, with the hope of improving recovery after surgery.
