NCT ID NCT07440069
First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at how well two common pain relievers, tramadol and paracetamol, work for first-time mothers during active labor compared to a placebo (saline). About 300 women will receive one of these treatments to see if it shortens labor and reduces pain safely for both mother and baby. The goal is to find a better way to manage labor pain without harming the newborn.
