First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looks at two common methods of giving fentanyl to manage labor pain: one injected into the spinal fluid and one into the epidural space. The goal is to see which method causes less itching, a common side effect. The study will involve 80 women in labor who request pain relief. Results could help doctors choose the best approach to reduce discomfort from side effects.
