Summary
This study tests whether giving L-carnitine, a natural substance, helps preterm babies with respiratory distress syndrome (RDS) survive and gain weight. Researchers will compare death rates and weight changes in 160 newborns admitted to the NICU. The goal is to see if this simple supplement improves outcomes for these fragile infants.
