NCT ID NCT07596485
First seen May 20, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This early-stage study tests whether an injection of KRIYA-748 followed by a daily varenicline pill is safe and can reduce pain and attack frequency in people with trigeminal neuralgia, a condition causing severe facial pain. About 24 adults with classic trigeminal neuralgia will receive the treatment and be monitored for side effects and pain changes. The goal is to find a tolerable dose and see if the combination offers meaningful relief.
