Summary
This study compared two different nerve block methods for pain relief after outpatient knee surgery. Researchers tested whether a newer method (adductor canal block) provides similar pain relief while causing less leg muscle weakness compared to the standard method (femoral nerve block). The study involved 132 adults undergoing common knee procedures like ACL repair or meniscus surgery.
