New knee implant aims to feel more natural

NCT ID NCT04855864

Summary

This study compares three different designs of total knee replacement implants to see which one helps patients regain better function and feel more like a natural knee. It involves 75 people with severe knee arthritis who need a knee replacement. Researchers will measure pain, movement, walking ability, and overall satisfaction to determine if preserving more of the knee's natural ligaments leads to a better outcome.
