First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding gentle electrical stimulation (FPS) to standard continuous passive movement (CPM) therapy helps people recover knee movement and reduce pain after ACL reconstruction. 24 adults participated in a 2-week rehab program. Researchers measured knee range of motion and pain levels to see if the combined approach works better than CPM alone.
