Scientists map how 'Jumper's Knee' changes athletic movements
NCT ID NCT07463560
Summary
This study aimed to understand how patellar tendinopathy (commonly called jumper's knee) affects leg movements during side-cutting maneuvers in sports. Researchers compared 30 people with the condition to 30 healthy controls while they performed side-cutting tasks in a motion lab. The goal was to identify specific movement patterns that might contribute to or result from this painful overuse injury.
