Summary

This study tested whether a single injection of type I atelocollagen into the knee joint can reduce pain in people with knee problems like arthritis or injury. 200 adults with moderate to severe pain received either the collagen injection or a placebo. The main goal was to see if pain scores improved after 24 weeks.
