Tourniquet-Style training tested for aching knees
NCT ID NCT07283237
Summary
This study is testing whether adding blood flow restriction to standard knee exercises helps reduce pain and improve strength better than exercises alone. It involves about 80 active adults aged 30-55 with mild to moderate knee osteoarthritis and inward-bowing knees. Participants will do targeted leg exercises, with half using a special thigh cuff that partially restricts blood flow during workouts.
