New study tests muscle release vs. special tape for Runner's knee

NCT ID NCT07290296

Summary

This study aims to see which of two physical therapy approaches works better for reducing knee pain and improving function in young adults with patellofemoral pain syndrome, often called 'runner's knee.' Researchers will compare a hands-on muscle release technique with a special elastic taping method. The goal is to help participants experience less pain during daily activities like walking, climbing stairs, and squatting.
