3D-Printed guides may sharpen knee surgery accuracy

NCT ID NCT07212777

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tests whether using custom 3D-printed surgical guides makes knee realignment surgery more precise than the standard method. About 50 adults with knee arthritis and bow-legged deformity will be randomly assigned to one of the two techniques. The main goal is to see how accurately the bone cut matches the pre-surgery plan, with follow-up for one year.
