New knee implant aims for faster recovery than traditional surgery

NCT ID NCT06423300

Summary

This study compares a new implant system called LIFT to traditional knee surgery (TTO) for people with cartilage damage behind the kneecap. Researchers want to see if the LIFT system provides similar pain relief and function improvement while allowing faster recovery. The study will follow 245 participants for two years to measure pain levels, knee function, and recovery time.
