First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study compares three types of knee-strengthening exercises (isometric, isotonic, and eccentric) to see which best reduces pain and improves function in people with patellofemoral pain syndrome (anterior knee pain). 90 adults aged 18–40 with knee pain for at least 3 months will be randomly assigned to one of the three exercise groups. All participants will also receive standard physiotherapy. The goal is to find the most effective rehabilitation approach.
