First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looked at two different nerve block techniques to manage pain after knee arthroscopy (a type of keyhole knee surgery). Fifty adults aged 20-60 were enrolled to compare an ultrasound-guided genicular nerve block with an IPACK block. The goal was to see which method provides better pain relief and reduces the need for opioid painkillers in the first 24 hours after surgery.
