Summary
This study tested whether a natural hormone called kisspeptin can help women with hypothalamic amenorrhea (a condition where periods stop due to stress or low body weight) release eggs. Thirteen women received kisspeptin injections for two weeks. Researchers monitored hormone levels and egg growth using blood tests and ultrasound. The goal was to see if kisspeptin could trigger ovulation.
