First seen Jun 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looked at 10 people with liver cancer (HCC) who were getting a standard treatment called chemoembolization (c-TACE). The goal was to see if mixing the chemotherapy drug doxorubicin with salt water or a contrast dye changes how the drug spreads inside the tumor. Researchers took small tissue samples and used special imaging to track the drug, aiming to find the best way to prepare the treatment.
