First seen May 29, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding kinesiotaping (a special elastic tape) to standard physical therapy can improve pain, movement, and fear of activity in people with knee osteoarthritis. Sixty adults aged 40-65 with mild knee arthritis will be randomly assigned to receive either physical therapy alone or physical therapy plus kinesiotaping for 4 weeks. The goal is to see if the tape provides extra relief beyond standard exercises and treatments.
