First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looked at whether Kinesio Taping (a special elastic tape placed on the skin) can reduce menstrual pain in teenage female soccer players with primary dysmenorrhea. Fifty girls aged 15-17 were randomly assigned to receive either real Kinesio Taping or a placebo tape. Researchers measured pain levels using a standard pain scale and a pain questionnaire to see if the taping made a difference.
