First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding Kinesio Taping to standard hand therapy helps people recover better after surgery for extensor tendon injuries in the hand. About 36 adults will be randomly assigned to receive either real Kinesio Taping or a fake tape, along with their usual rehab. Researchers will measure hand movement, strength, and function at 12 and 24 weeks to see if the tape provides extra benefits.
