Summary
This study looked at whether giving children a connected toothbrush, special toothpaste, and behavioral support after cavity surgery could improve brushing habits and lower future dental costs. About 93 kids aged 4-7 who had already been treated for cavities in the operating room took part. The goal was to see if this approach helps prevent new cavities and reduces insurance claims.
