Summary

This study tested a robotic platform called MONARCH to help remove kidney stones. Fifteen adults with stones larger than 1 cm took part. The goal was to see if the robot could safely access the kidney, find and break up the stones, and clear them out. Results showed the procedure was completed successfully in all participants, with most being stone-free after 30 days.
