Suction vs. no suction: which is safer for kidney stone surgery?

NCT ID NCT07619456

First seen Jun 13, 2026

Summary

This study looked at pressure inside the kidney during surgery to remove kidney stones. Doctors compared two methods: one using a tube that also suctions out stone dust, and one without suction. The goal was to see how pressure changes, which could affect safety and how well stones are removed. 21 adults with kidney stones took part.
