Summary
This study compared two common surgeries for kidney stones 20 mm or smaller: super-mini percutaneous nephrolithotomy (SMP) and flexible ureteroscopy (fURS). Researchers wanted to see which method removes stones better, costs less, and has fewer side effects. The trial involved 72 adults in Vietnam and measured stone-free rates, surgery time, complications, and total treatment cost.
