Global hunt for clues to protect Kids' kidneys after surgery

Summary
This international study aims to understand how often children develop sudden kidney problems after non-heart surgery. Researchers will observe 2,000 hospitalized children aged 0-16 to measure the rate of this injury and identify what factors increase the risk. They will also test if certain substances in urine can serve as early warning signs, which could help doctors prevent serious complications.
