New combo therapy shows promise for kidney cancer patients
NCT ID NCT02210117
First seen Nov 06, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This early-phase study looks at how safe and effective immunotherapy drugs (nivolumab alone or with bevacizumab or ipilimumab) are when given before surgery to people with kidney cancer that has spread. About 104 participants will receive these treatments to see how the body reacts and whether the immune system attacks the tumor. The goal is to find better ways to control the disease, not to cure it.
