New drug combo aims to boost immune attack on kidney cancer

Summary
This study tests whether giving the drugs pembrolizumab alone or with lenvatinib before and after kidney cancer surgery can boost the immune system's ability to fight the cancer. About 30 adults with high-risk kidney cancer will take part. Researchers will measure changes in immune cells in the blood and tumor tissue.
