First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tests a new combination of two immunotherapy drugs (botensilimab and balstilimab) against a standard combination (ipilimumab and nivolumab) in people with advanced kidney cancer that has spread. About 120 patients who have not had prior treatment will be randomly assigned to one of the two combos. The goal is to see if the new combo shrinks tumors better and for longer. The study is currently on hold.
