Experimental cell therapy enters human testing for Tough-to-Treat kidney cancer
NCT ID NCT04696731
Summary
This early-stage trial is testing the safety and finding the right dose of an experimental cell therapy called ALLO-316 for people with advanced kidney cancer that has spread. The study involves 120 adults whose cancer has progressed despite standard treatments. Researchers are giving patients the new therapy after a preparatory chemotherapy regimen to see how their bodies handle it and to look for early signs that it might help control the cancer.
