Summary
This study looks at whether the level of ketones in the blood is linked to confusion (emergence delirium) in children after general anesthesia. Researchers will monitor 200 children aged 2 to 12 having planned surgery. The goal is to understand if ketone levels can predict recovery problems, which could help improve care.
